The Peapod Nursery School opened in 2016 in the large hall of the Grace Baptist Church, Oak Bank, Andover. To keep the Peapod as a small and intimate group, we limit sessions to a maximum of 24 children, taking children from two years until they start school.

We are very lucky to have exclusive use of the hall during the week, which is set up to provide a reading corner, craft section, maths and science activities and lots of role play.

Outside play is important to us, and children have free-flow access to a spacious outside play area. Sand and water play are always available, and we have a mud kitchen, vegetable garden, construction area, and physical play. Bats, balls, skipping ropes and plenty of other toys are easily accessed from the many toy boxes.

We also take regular walks in the area around us, including a lovely walk along Anton Road, two local parks, the butterfly garden and a large playing field. We can also walk into town to feed the ducks and visit the library.

We offer 15 -30 hours government funding.
